L & L Builders Co.

BCC Advisers is pleased to share the following announcement regarding the sale of our client’s company, L & L Builders Co., to Story Construction. BCC served as L & L Builders Co.’s investment banker and advised in negotiations throughout all aspects of the sale process.
Story Construction, an employee-owned general contractor, construction manager and design-builder headquartered in Ames, IA, announced a purchase agreement to acquire the assets of BCC client L & L Builders Co., a general contractor based out of Sioux City, IA. Story Construction will do business in the Sioux City region under the L & L Builders name.
L & L Builders Co. was founded in Sioux City by brothers Larry and Lonny Book in 1960. Over the years it has expanded its project portfolio to include new commercial construction and major renovations in the medical, industrial, government, restaurants, and historic restoration markets with a commitment to superior craftsmanship and exceptional performance.

Story Construction has reached employment agreements with L & L Builders Co. leadership and will retain the firm’s workforce.
